Lesson Details

My lessons conform to each individual student. No one person is the same, so no one person learns in the same manner. I provide a fun, knowledgeable, and open learning environment for all of my students. Depending on the instrument, my curriculum conforms to the student. If you have no prior musical experience with your choice instrument I use the Suzuki Method for Piano (taught to listen and play before learning written notes), Kodaly Method for Vocal (aural, written, and reading), and the ... Orff Method for Percussion (observe, imitate, experiment, and create). I will work with the student depending on their goals, aspirations, and the time they have to commit to make sure that every lesson is a valuable learning experience.

I am a part-time music instructor specializing in piano, organ, voice and percussion. I hold a Bachelors Degree from Westminster College in Music Business where I assisted with multiple musicals and school affiliated music groups. I have over 16 years of personal music experience and have studied with some of the nations top musicians. I have been teaching privately and in groups for over 6 years and my students have ranged from age 5 to age 55. I have taught in all genres of music including ... classical, jazz, blues, rock, gospel and much more.
