I am a current student at Bucks County Community College and a product of their music department. I studied with Professors John Sheridan and Tom Giacabetti (UArts and Temple) I've been studying music theory for 8 years and have been a guitar player for 9 years. With 4 years of teaching under my belt, I specialize in contemporary music that stretches over many genres including blues, country, pop, and rock. I can also teach an introduction to jazz for students looking to enter into a college program. I'm also a member of alternative country band 'Levee Drivers.' We have enjoyed local success which gives me great professional experience as well as keeping me on my toes as a musician. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels and no form of music is boring to me. I am willing and able to teach whatever is desired by the student. *** Lesson Details *** My lessons are very comfortable and I prefer to be encouraging as opposed to strict. I stress over the importance of rhythm and being well rounded on whichever instrument they choose to study. My lessons will be just as educational as they are fun. I want my students to have a greater appreciation for music by the time the lesson is over. Reading music will be implied but not forced and I always adjust my lessons to fit the way that YOU the student wants to go about learning guitar. My main goal is to be able to teach someone to work hard and believe in themselves.
