My passion for music began at age 3 when my grandmother taught me my first song on the piano. I became totally dedicated when I first picked up the flute at age 8. Since then I have received 3rd place in the state of Arizona for flute and first place for jazz saxophone. I was always 2nd chair in all the top ensembles at the U of A and UNC. I played along side those who were getting their doctoral degrees in performance but I maintained my focus on education because I find teaching more rewarding. I have been teaching music for 15 years now and I never regret choosing education over a performance career. If you want a caring, dedicated, fun and experienced teacher. I'm the one for you!
