Thanks Kristin!! My kid is the ultimate couch potato and you helped her find her 'thing' :-D Alx E February 2, 2011 Coach Kristin is not only a coach, but a role model, and a mentor. As one of her former players she helped me not only with my volleyball skills, but with life itself. If I ever needed someone to confide in she was there. Kristin bettered me as a player and as a person. She challenged me at every practice and pushed me beyond my limits to show me that the only limits I have are the ones I put there myself. Hands down Coach Kristin is the best coach I've had and any player she coaches would say the same. She pushes her players to make them the best they can be, and she teaches them confidence, skill, and teamwork. Maranda R January 31, 2011 I was very insecure about playing volleyball, but once I met Kristin and saw how she coached and taught I started to feel great about it. I am a competitive, strong minded person and Kristin was the perfect match to help me learn the sport. She was tough on me but it was exactly what I needed to get prepared for tryouts. Plus she was always fair, flexible, and very understanding about everything. I really enjoyed the time I got to play with Kristin as my coach and would recommend her to all my friends. I hope she goes on to do great things with volleyball because she is very good at it and coaches with a strong winning attitude. I would certainly play hard for her anytime! (: Tracy S January 31, 2011 We were fortunate and blessed to have met Kristin Gabica when our daughter wanted to pursue playing volleyball. Kristin exuded a passion for the sport of volleyball and the same passion for helping our daughter become the best she could possibly be. Kristin was professional, prompt, and courteous at each practice. She was stern but fair, and played an instrumental role in increasing our daughter's confidence level both personally and in the sport of volleyball. We watched our daughter's demeanor glisten with self-esteem and a "can do" attitude instilled by Kristin during each of their practice sessions. We then went on to witness our daughter make the JV volleyball team after many hours spent with Kristin taking the time and care to coach and mentor her for the sport. We truly enjoyed ourselves during the season watching the winning, competitive strive for excellence Kristin portrayed during each game and each practice. It is with great pleasure we recommend Kristin Gabica as a tremendous volleyball coach and mentor. We know with confidence she will excel at anything she puts her mind to do and hope that our daughter will get to be a part of Kristin's volleyball teams in the future. Kim S January 27, 2011 Kristin has done an amazing job of working with my daughter (who refuses to play team sports) in the semi-private setting. Kristin is super flexible and takes time out of her personal life to nail down locations for practices. My daughter is very hard to motivate, but not when it comes to volleyball. She loves it, she works hard during the practices but still leaves with a smile on her face. I can only hope that my daughter will someday end up on Kristin's High School team. She is a great coach, strict but motivating. My daughter has not complained once about practice sessions....except of course about how sore her arms are afterwards. :-D Finding Kristin was the best thing to happen for my daughter in a very long time! I am excited about my daughters future in volleyball. Jessie I January 27, 2011 Kristin Gabica is one of the most compassionate and dedicated coaches that I have ever had or met. After having her as a JV volleyball and club volleyball coach, I have learned that Kristin cares about nothing other than having her team succeed, and even when they lose, she picks them right back up and encourages them to do better next time. Kristin also takes the time to get to know her players on a personal level, which is great because she learns our weaknesses and strengths. I remember that team bonding was very important to her because it helped us work better together, which makes her a great coach to take the time to ensure this. I think that since Kristin is a former volleyball player, it is beneficial to any team she coaches because she puts what she has learned into her coaching. For Kristin to have her own volleyball camp/clinic would be great for girls wanting to become better players because she is such an amazing coach and would try her absolute best to help them build skills and confidence in themselves

    USA Volleyball

USA Volleyball currently has a minimum level coach education requirement in order to coach in a USAV Junior Volleyball Program. The Indoor IMPACT course is required for all USAV Junior Club Coaches and is the pre-requisite for CAP Level I attendees. Please note that Regional Volleyball Associations may have a more stringent requirement to coach in their program at any level. USAV National Office does not require a renewal of this course, but the coach's region or club may decide to require a renewal. Currently IMPACT is offered in six different formats: online in OnDemand, online in live webinar, onsite at a national clinic, onsite at a regional clinic, and onsite at a USAV national qualifier or bid tournament.
