Kris has been on the teaching staff of the Musicians Institute in Hollywood since 2001, and has received his Bachelors Degree in Music from Cal State Northridge.

I adapt my methods to the student, but I particularly enjoy teaching the Murry Spivak/Wally Snow method, which is a highly specialized method of classical snare drum training which can then be applied to many other styles, including drum set. I can also teach a drum corp. approach.

I'm learning so much !
I really enjoy having Kris as my music theory and drum instructor. It is obvious that he has a passion for music that is infectious for the student. Amazing
Kris has worked with my daughter Riley for about a year now and she has improved and learned so much. How To Sign Up
Review the TakeLessons teachers in your area. Find the teacher you like the best and either book online or call/email a TakeLessons Student Counselor to book your lessons. You will then choose a day and time that works best for you, select your lesson package and pay via credit or debit card to book your lessons.
After you have booked your lessons, your instructor will contact you within 1-2 days. This gives the instructor a chance to introduce him or herself, and make sure everything is set for your first lesson.
