    About Kym F.

Vocal Training* My objective (for all voice students of every genre) is to make sure that their singing is technically sound. I have found that the classical method works best in building proper strength, stamina, projection and control. A great example would be that every exceptional dancer regardless of style takes ballet classes for a solid technical foundation. Once the students truly understands proper vocal technique then we apply these techniques to their genre of choice be it pop, blues, gospel, rock, r&b, Jazz, musical theatre, country etc. Piano Lessons* (Private and Class) Music Theory*

    Know Your Voice

Know Your Voice is an oasis for singers. Here, every singer’s voice is viewed as an intricately designed gift from God. We encourage each student to study their own instrument from a spiritual, mental and physical perspective. Our exclusive and customized curriculum will assist students in perfecting their technical and performance skills. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to study vocal pedagogy; which will prepare them to be a Know Your Voice Elite Instructor. Our mission is to “make” singers into vocalists and YES, there is a difference! Anyone with a voice is capable of singing however a vocalist is an instrumentalist. Vocalists know their voice. They have the ability to use their knowledge and natural gifts effectively and readily in execution and performance. Vocalists are professional, well prepared and have a sense of humility, awareness and responsibility toward their gift and their instrument.
