    About Kim S.

    Kim is a warm, sincere, positive person with an extensive professional background in writing, acting, and directing. She has been teaching since 1999, and her work experience includes long runs with Boston TheatreWorks of Harvard's American Rep and being published at age twelve, as well as a Moss Hart Award for Theatre and a Lois Mackey Prize For Fiction (chosen by National Book Award Winner Bob Shacochis.) She has studied at a competitive performing arts boarding school under the renowned instructor Bruce Miller, received a B.A. in Creative Writing on scholarship from Beloit College (where she studied under Pulitzer nominee Clint McCown), and has trained in the Meisner Technique under Boston Conservatory's Andrea Southwick. Recently, she has written a one-woman show, which she performs professionally, and a forthcoming novelette. Kim enjoys watching her students reach their full potential, and been known to foster a lot of progress in them without pushing. She also loves to laugh.
