Having trained extensively in salsa under two world champions (Eli Torres)(Henri Velandia) and spending years developing a signature curriculum and teaching methodology I bring high quality instruction in New York and LA style salsa. I'm also one of 7 people in the United States certified by ZoukNY to teach all 4 levels of Brazillian Rio Zouk. I have developed my own skills in Bachata and Kizomba for several years and offer workshops occasionally when my schedule allows. My private lessons are tailored to your personal goals. If you would like to learn to dance from the ground up as a beginner we will move slowly at first, sticking to the beginner syllabus until you are comfortable to move on. If you already know how to dance and want to see improvement we can dive right in and quickly put you on the right track. If you are already an accomplished dancer and need to break into master level material or would like to begin performing I'll train you at the level of my dance company or perhaps invite you to audition. My teaching style is relaxed. I have an eye for detail but I understand that Rome wasn't built in a day so I won't nitpick unless you want. I'm very patient, but as I get to know what you are capable of I will challenge you with more difficult material. I love to teach and I can see the potential in each of my students from the moment they begin to the moment they realize that potential and it's such a beautiful thing. At the end of the day you should take lessons with me because I want to see you succeed and I'm more than capable of getting you there.
