I specialize in Classical/Operatic Voice Techniques, but am able to teach musical theatre. I do not teach popular vocal styles, such as rap, rock, indie, soul, country, hip hop, gospel, punk, or pop music styles. For piano, I teach a little bit of every genre and style. Guitar I teach basic techniques, chording and strumming. Music can range from classical, folk, jazz to more popular tunes.
Lessons can expect to be laid back, fun and full of learning. You will learn how to have fun playing music, musical techniques, sight-reading, musicianship, note-reading, ear training and theory. After 3-6 months of lessons, you will be either playing the piano or singing at a high level. You will be learning new music, having fun and enjoying what you are learning in my teaching studio.
