You can choose to learn by ear, notation, tab, or a combination of these. We will play standard tunes, and any of your favorites from Bill Monroe to Chris Thiles, and beyond. A mandolin is also great for strumming and singing.

I have been teaching for over fifteen years. I play various styles including jazz, rock, blues, classical, country, and bluegrass. Instruments I teach include guitar, dobro, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele. I also teach the Q Chord. I have performed in many different bands including rock, top forty, bluegrass, gospel, and country. I enjoy teaching students and find it to be fulfilling.
