Piano with Kent D.

I am a graduate of Kansas State University and I am currently attending dental school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove. I have experience tutoring biology at the college level, and worked for two years as a teaching assistant. I love spending my free time learning everything I can about science, politics, and even appropriate grammar. I have seven years of experience teaching piano to students ranging from 4 to 54 years of age. I knew when I was three that I wanted to play piano, and I love teaching others so that they can experience the same joy that I feel when I sit down to play. I started playing organ at the age of 14, and was playing for my church congregation by 16. In addition to my own recitals and competitions, I have played for a number of church and school choirs, vocal and instrumental soloists, weddings, funerals, and so on. I studied piano and organ at Kansas State University while completing a degree in biology prior to entering dental school. I currently enjoy playing for the children at church and accompanying my beautiful wife who plays flute. I started learning Spanish while living as a child in Panama. I also studied Spanish throughout grade school. I became fluent while living in Peru for two years during my college years. I often work with Spanish-speaking patients as part of my dental education.
