I have over 30 years of playing and 10 years of teaching experience. I teach all levels of drummers; beginner to advanced. I have taught privately, as well as through at Amy K's Music School in Phoenix. I believe in building a solid foundation by teaching fundamentals and warm up techniques. Beginning lessons are planned with a focus on rudiments, their application, their relationship to hand and foot technique, and how to apply those patterns to the drum set. Music theory and sight reading are also taught.
