    About Katie L.

    Katie L. is a preschool teacher, chef, musician and food writer based in NYC. She launched her life in the food world as the head savory chef at a popular restaurant in the West Village called Sweet Revenge, while simultaneously leading her band, Jolie Laide. Her passion for kids, food, and music led her to eventually quit the restaurant scene and pursue her ambitions as a pre-school teacher, full-time. Currently she teaches nutritional cooking, music, movement and preschool at Citibabes Soho, is a regular nutritional contributor for Shine NYC, is a private chef instructor, a caterer of 50-300 person events, and works with her band on their eclectic burlesque rock sound (iTunes/Amazon). Katie looks forward to pursuing a life-long career of youth education, food, music and happiness.
