I am really enjoying the lessons. Her warm up activities are well thought out and really hit important spots that I need. thank you!

Kathryn is a very patient and friendly instructor. She is also very knowledgeable and able to guide me very well in the development of my singing. I would definitely recommend her as a very good teacher. She has also been very responsive and has shifted the focus of my lessons to target my areas of interest and need.

I loved taking singing instruction from Kathy for 3 reasons:
1) She takes interest in what student wants to master at. I wanted to work on classical notes which she very helped me to.
2) She makes the class very fun and relaxing. I literally felt how unwinding music can me after peak audit/ tax work with the clients
3) She is very candid in giving feedback and making sure what I had to improve in my upcoming lesson.
I recommend taking music lesson with Kathy.

There is nothing more encouraging in any learning process than a gracious, well prepared, skillful instructor.

Taking piano lessons with Kathy is not only educative but it's always enjoyable.

I'd like to think I'm very into playing piano, I started from scratch around two months ago with Kathy, but the truth is if I didn't have an instructor with such positive, patient and cheerful attitude I would have probably quit by now.

I would recommend anyone with the intention of learning anything she has to teach to go for her :D

It's so easy to be a good student, when you have a teacher like Kathy! She's so encouraging, positive and happy, it's been a pleasure having lessons with her!

Kathy was a great teacher. We wish we could continue lessons with her but cannot since we are moving. The kids really liked her and she knows a variety of music which keeps them entertained. Definitely would recommend her to anyone!

We focused a lot on broader technique--posture, breathing, etc--as well as the expecting singing. Kathryn made it really fun, as well as educational!

Kathy is a warm and friendly teacher. She brought a lot of new exercises and understanding to the mix and I definitely felt like I made progress. I always left class feeling good and like I had achieved something new. I notice now that whenever I sing, I have more confidence and she successfully taught me to find a more extensive range to my voice. I came convinced I couldnt sing above "C" but I definitely went much further than that. Highly recommended to have fun and learn.

She is patient to teach me until I completely understand. I bet this lesson will make my voice skill improve.

My first meeting with Kathryn was so pleasant and she made me comfortable and happy with my decision in choosing her. She moves at your pace and is genuinely concerned with your progress :)

She's great! Very flexible and accommodating. Also very patient. Happy. Nice. Etc.

kathryn has a very easy way about her & has helped me with my breathing & focus. she will also help work on tough jumps & phrasing to break them down into pieces that are easier to target & master. she's been a joy to work with.

My teacher, Kathryn is great! She's great patience, so good with all the exercises and songs! She has helped me a lot....I have grown, in such a short time and looking forward to more success with her!! She has a great voice too!

Kathy is very talented, patient and enjoys music greatly, all attibutes that make her excell at teaching.

Thanks go Kathryn I'm now able to control my breathing while singing as well as letting to of tension that prevents me from staying in tune and reaching high notes. She's also very good and pointing out my mistakes and promptly correct them. I highly recommend her.

Kathryn was extremely helpful in providing an introduction to voice lessons for me, she took care of the awkwardness of low self esteem and brought me to a level where I felt comfortable using my voice. Major props to her for being so supportive!

She was GREAT! I signed up with TAKE LESSONS with ONE objective in mind: to learn how to play THE STAND. I had NO experience at guitar and basically didn't even know how to strum one properly. Kathryn walked me through the lesson and in 2 sessions I achieved more than I thought I would. Now I know how and what to practice. She was very professional and TAKE LESSONS should be proud to have her on board. Upon my NEXT song, I certainly hope TAKE LESSONS can hook me up with her. Regardless, I will come through TAKE LESSONS!
