Every student is different. I have experience with teaching toddlers to retirees and believe that the best way to reach a student and have them become proficient in their skill is to build a relationship with them, make them comfortable and find out how best they learn. I structure my instruction to meet you where you are at while challenging you and encouraging you. I believe a person can truly learn anything once it is explained in a way they understand and the process is made fun. I believe firmly in articulating to my students the method behind the subject, so they can understand its form and then begin to see it's pattern.
