Being "classically trained" does not make you a more legit singer. Having taken both classical and contemporary studies, I've gained an awareness of how diverse of a singer I can be with both! I attended the Boston Arts Academy High School and Berklee College of Music in Boston MA and in my short 15 years of singing, I've been able to able to navigate through many genres of music simply because of the technique acquired, not because of the style of music I chose to sing. I've sang with/for artists such as; Toby Keith, Chaka Khan, Floetry and Ledisi and most recently the Boston POPs. *** Lesson Details *** Discovering and revealing the different colors of your voice is my main objective! As a vocalist, the question should be, and always remain, "What are my sounds?" Discovering your strengths and your weaknesses, realizing that your voice has changed and will change again.
