    I started singing when I was 5 years old. As my mother tells it, I used to stand on her footstool with her hairbrush and pretend I was Johnny Cash.

    By the time I was 13, I had started taking voice and piano lessons. I never stopped. My passion for performing and hunger for knowledge grew from Classical music to Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, Folk, Broadway and, most recently, Hip-Hop.
