My name is Justin Covert and I can't wait to explore the percussive arts with you! I've been teaching private drum lessons since 2008 and have loved helping my students become world championship finalists, drumline section leaders, even professional drum set players and recording artists. Music aside, I take pride in my teaching my students about the discipline and character required to succeed as a musician and as a person in general. I am a current performer with "Street Drum Corps" which was named Percussion Ensemble of the year by Drum Magazine. I teach percussion at Coronado HS in Scottsdale, and perform drumset for numerous artists and bands locally. In 2007, I was the RMPA Snare Drum Champion and a WGI World Championships Finalist. I've performed and taught every from East Africa to Europe and currently teach at my percussion studio in Tempe Arizona.
