Hello, thank you for your interest in learning the piano/voice /music! My name is Yuliya, for nearly 2 decades I’ve been successfully teaching hundreds of students, both children and adults how to play the piano and sing. My specialties are: 1. Piano: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced levels 2.Classical style Piano 3. Jazz style Piano 4. Pop Style Piano 2. Music composition and improvisation class Learning to play the piano as well as singing could be very challenging, especially if you are the beginner. With so many methods, systems and books available online and offline, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and loose the motivation and gave up on your dream. There are a lot to understand and learn: musical notation, chords, rhythmical patterns, music theory and terminology, music styles, phrasing and musical expression. I provide my students with easy to understand and follow instructions, through my integrated piano method where we are learning all aspects of music within the musical concept/song. This Piano method is easy to understand and follow and it's very effective for all levels of musicians. I use personal approach based on individual needs and wants. Here is little but about my background: I've been studying music since I was 6 years old. First 7 years in Music school, then 4 years of Music college and another 4 years in State Conservatory of Music in my birth country - Kazakhstan. I graduated with Music Major as a choir conductor, pianist, and vocalist. With 15 years of music studying and about two decades of teaching piano and voice to hundreds of students of all levels, I’ve developed my own Piano and Vocal Method that have helped many students to learn the subject, become well rounded musicians, win piano and voice auditions and competitions, get a scholarship and pursue music career. Playing a musical instrument or singing is a very personal experience and I design my classes and choose music and techniques the way that it suits student’s level and fit personality. My mission to make learning process interactive, and easy avoiding any pressure or frustration. I am committed to the success of each student and eager to build a long-term relationship and inspire and motivate students to practice and master the Piano playing skills. The time of the lessons may vary, I usually suggest 30 min a trial lesson to œmeet and greet, as well as establish goals. We will talk about the schedule and will set up a regular schedule around convenient time for both. 1. Beginners are taken through the fundamentals. "Learn to stand and to walk before to run." 2. On first lesson, you will be learning new exercises to get you started and possibly easy song along with homework assignments. 4. Also, you going to get work/method books and practice plan.
