Started focusing on drums at the age of 13 diving straight into rock. In 2010, shifting to focus on Jazz and Big Band, I graduated from Berklee College of Music majoring in both Contemporary Music (drums), and Music Production. Following Berklee, I obtained a Masters of Music at NYU. Throughout, I have remained actively involved with bands playing different styles of music such as Rock, Jazz, Hip-hop, Reggae, Ska, Latin, and everything in between. In 2005, I designed and taught the drumming curriculum at the Bogota School of Rock in Colombia for beginner and intermediate level students for two years. Although, drums and music in general are my passion, I live a very active lifestyle that includes playing basketball, mountaineering, hiking, soccer, among others. Lastly, because I consider myself a people person, I hope to learn as much from my students as they learn from me.
