Joseph is very supportive and encouraging to my kids who are both super-early-beginner drummers. I like how he is showing them important elements to music, like how to read music, and use the correct phrases to describe what they are doing, and I also like his patience with them as well as his adaptive style to keep my kids engaged. He brings over music sheets, drum sticks, amp & drumbeat machine to supplement the lessons. Really quality instructor in the SugarHouse area.
