Over eight years experience in contemporary Christian worship music. Four years experience in classical guitar performance (solo and ensemble). I was self taught and then musically trained to read music and study music theory.

Lesson Details

Lessons will be tailored to each individual students ambitions and current skill level. Students can expect a balance between learning contemporary music styles, and basic music theory and technique. Lessons will always be positive, challenging, and will encourage students to reach beyond their goals and what they think they are capable of.

A general lesson structure will include

-Music theory (reading, analyzing, and studying basic music theory)
-Guitar technique (learning how to play ... the instrument in a way that will yield the most results)
-Establishing a musical set of goals (setting up a schedule for reaching goals and finding the path to get there)
-Listening to music (all students will learn how to listen critically to different forms of music from every time period)

Joseph began taking guitar lessons at age 10, learning basic music theory and guitar technique. At age 14, Joseph began performing in local churches around Orange County, New York and by the age of 16, and had joined a Contemporary Christian Worship Band where he helped lead conferences and youth rallies throughout the area.
After relocating to Florida, Joseph enrolled at Stetson University where he was a student of the internationally acclaimed performer and teacher, Dr. Stephen Robinson. He ... was a member of the Stetson University Guitar Ensemble and appeared in performances on campus numerous times and in residence at the retirement community, Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park, Florida. He also worked as a recording engineer for the Stetson School of Music where he recorded and edited live classical recitals for guest and student performers. Additionally while at Stetson, Joseph performed as a soloist, playing works by Jaime Zenamon, Domenico Scarlatti, Isaac Albéniz and Manuel Ponce.
Joseph attained his Bachelor of Music with an outside emphasis in Business as of May, 2010 and currently plays guitar on a weekly basis for The Tampa Bay Tabernacle worship team.
