For electric, acoustic and beginning guitar I use the Berkley method along with handouts for chords/exercises and finger picking patterns This gives the student flexibility to explore many musical styles.
For classic guitar I use the Sagreras or Parkening methods plus the same handouts as for pick guitar. Can also teach Bossa Nova and Flamenco styles as well.

My Specialties
I use Mel Bay and Berkley guitar methods for beginning students for pick guitar. The Sagreras or Parkening methods for classical guitar. -I give students a well rounded education in all the major styles-techniques, teaching them finger picking as well as pick technique, chords and improvisation. -I specialize in building a strong foundation both musically and technically for people that have not played guitar or even music before and helping them to reach the musical goals they desire.

How To Sign Up
Review the TakeLessons teachers in your area. Find the teacher you like the best and either book online or call/email a TakeLessons Student Counselor to book your lessons. You will then choose a day and time that works best for you, select your lesson package and pay via credit or debit card to book your lessons.
After you have booked your lessons, your instructor will contact you within 1-2 days. This gives the instructor a chance to introduce him or herself, and make sure everything is set for your first lesson.
