    About Joseph C.

Joe C. graduated at the top of his class from the State University of New York, College of Oneonta. There, he studied music performance, audio production, and music industry. Graduating with a year's worth of extra credit for music performance, Joe has performed in many school ensembles including a Blues group that covered Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety, a Frank Zappa tribute band, and a guitar orchestra covering works from Charles Mingus to Radiohead. Joe has continued his studies after college with world class musician Gabriel Marin of the band Consider the Source. Marin's extensive knowledge of middle eastern music and instruments like the Dutar and Dombrah have translated into a unique perspective on both the guitar and ukulele. Joe Currently plays ukulele in a Hawaiian band that performs around the tri-state area along side the Halao Hula dancers. He also plays guitar in a progressive funk rock band called Mercury Landing. On the side, Joe enjoys tinkering with vintage guitar amps and writing music and interpretations for his ukulele side project Ukulelien. *** Lesson Details *** When you take lessons with me, I am going to cater my curriculum to your needs.
