I've been teaching Guitar for 15 years and my students have gone on to compose their own music and teach guitar to others. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to get develop an understanding of technique and theory and as time goes on you'll be able to use what you have learned to play your favorite songs and begin to create music of your own.  I specialize in Fusion, Rock, Metal, Progressive, Blues and Improvisation within each of these genres, typically use a variety of teaching tools and provide customized home work for your lessons: I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

I have been playing guitar for over twenty years and performing/teaching for the past fifteen. I'm well versed in a variety of styles.

A well of ideas and suggestions

I've had a couple of lessons with Joseph, and the thing that struck me immediately was his enthusiasm. I had many things I wanted to learn, and he was eager to demonstrate different ways of approaching licks and such. We also started going into more theoretical things, like the melodic major scale, and also discussed modes.

I'm hoping to continue learning from Joseph, and would recommend him to students looking to improve their lead skills, as well as getting into music theory without the frustration you sometimes get from books on the subject.
