Hello all that are interested in expanding their musical knowledge! I have been playing guitar for more than fifteen years and have been teaching for more than five. I started out as a kid plucking away at a bargain basement guitar training myself by ear. I did not start taking lessons until I was out of high school. When I decided to take my musical education to the next level I enrolled in college courses and began learning the fundamentals of music. These courses combined with my private lessons provided me with a "Great Awakening" regarding musical expression. I began to understand the method to the madness of music. That is what inspires me to teach! I want to guide my students and give them the opportunity to experience the joy of discovery in the world of music. I pride myself in teaching what my students want to learn, each lesson is crafted to my individual student's interests. Along with specific lesson plans I also supplement with the foundations of musicianship!
