My very own drumming business! Going strong, and enjoying doing it!

I have been teaching for half a year now but "curriculum developing" for well over a year. I modify my teaching goals depending on the student to some extent but I think it's important to start with rudiments (developing hand technique), and from there get into the students music of choice. At that point it's about developing coordination, independence, and above all, applying all this to playing in a musical setting.

I am a music major at FAU with 11 years of percussion-playing experience. I have studied just about every style out there in depth and I love it all. Without a doubt, this is what I do and want to do for a living! I like to think I have some unique ideas on teaching the drums, and I'm a good judge of where to go with students based on their needs and desires. I have been teaching for half a year now and things are taking off bit by bit, and my students certainly seem to like how I do things!
