"Friendly, collaborative and inspired" Lifelong learners needs proper motivation, direction, encouragement, safety and respect. Teachers should be able to devote time and attention to make sure the facets are met and to encourage students to reach their full potential. The teachers I have had clearly stand out from my memory - they effortlessly clarified topics with respect and encouragement. These role models have influenced my approach to teaching; I am an educator who is also facilitator of learning and conscious of different learning styles and rates.
