Lutheran Happening of The South

I serve as the Director for the bi-yearly youth event Lutheran Happening of The South. My duties include organizing and planning music selections, coordinating with other staff musicians, and leading the groups in songs during the staff training and event weekends. I work alongside three other directors to organize the logistics of the event are properly planned to ensure a smooth weekend for the youth.

Wesley Foundation

I served on the leadership team for the Valdosta State Wesley Foundation as the guitarist. I worked alongside the worship team to plan, organize, and execute the music for the weekly services.

Camp Towanda

I worked as a general counselor and guitar instructor at Camp Towanda for two summers during 2009 and 2010. During the summer I taught several group sessions where campers would bring their own guitar to play for 30 minutes to an hour.

Lassiter High School FCA

During my Junior and Senior year I served on the leadership team for the Lassiter High School FCA. I helped organize and plan the music for the Friday morning services which included coordinating with other members of the team and leading practices each week.

Lassiter High School

I was a member of the Lassiter High School Marching band where I studied music theory and developed the knowledge based skills behind musicianship. During my time at Lassiter High School the marching band took first place in the Bands of America National Championship, marched in the Macy's and Tournament of Roses Parade, and placed first at the state and regional levels. In 2005 I served as an officer for the band and was awarded the Most Outstanding Member Award.

St. Thomas Lutheran Church

At St. Thomas Lutheran Church I served as the leader for the worship team. I played lead guitar and sang vocals on Sunday mornings and at youth events. I led practices and taught the other musicians their parts for the selected songs.
