Piano with Johanna A.

Hello music students, my name is Johanna and I am excited to get started on this musical journey with you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2005 in which I taught beginners all the way to college level. I have been able to lead my beginner clarinet students to grow their confidence and bump up to the next level. I also have been able to prepare my high school clarinet students in Region Band auditions, Solo and Ensemble Contests, and successful college auditions. I also I went to Houston Baptist University and earned a Bachelor in Music in 2008. I furthered my studies in exciting NYC and earned a Masters degree of Music in Clarinet Performance in 2013. I'm a patient and objective person. I like working with the student at their own pace, and thoroughly working on concepts. I also like to incorporate fun and bringing the joy of music to our lesson. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
