Hello and welcome to my profile. I am a professional Los Angeles area saxophonist with two degrees under my belt and 10+ years of performing experience. In my early formation I studied classical saxophone technique with the great Karen Wiley in Houston Texas. I also attended the legendary High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston. I then achieved a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston and earned my BFA studying with some of todays most accomplished Jazz educators and performers. These names include Hal Crook, David Baker, Danilo Perez, George Garzone, among others. I then moved to Los Angeles to pursue my masters at CalArts and studied with several world music masters as well as world class composers and Jazz faculty. I have been playing professionally for 10 years and am well versed in classical woodwind techniques, music theory, as well as Improvisation and composition.
