I know that the beginning of anything, is a very important time, and the foundation must be laid carefully in order to prevent disaster in the future.
Encouragement and praise for good work is also essential.

My students will be taught how to learn songs directly from recordings (by ear), and they will also learn how to play from charts. Those learning classical guitar will learn to read standard music notation as well.
Homework will be assigned and lessons will progress at each students rate of effort. If progress is not being made, I will discuss this with the student (and with the parents, if the student is under their care) and find a solution.
Within six months, my students will have a firm grip on the basics, and will have a solid foundation to grow on.
If the student desires to perform publicly, I will guide them with advice on: Image - Talent Agencies and Management - Stage Equipment - P.A. Systems - Lighting - Showmanship and Marketing - Acquiring employment - Talent Agencies and Personal Management.
If the student wishes to compose their own compositions, I will guide them in the methods of popular song writing, and how to protect their compositions.
If the student wishes to record their own music, I will advise them on dealing with Recording Studios and production methods.
If the student wishes to become a Star, I will advise them on obtaining and bargaining with Talent Agencies, Personal Managers and recording companies.
