Bass Guitar with Joe F.

Hello Students My name is Joe I have been playing the bass for over 30 years. I was lucky enough to grow up in a family of musicians were I learned many styles of music. I enjoy teaching students and enjoy seeing the progress as they learn their instrument. My lessons plans vary depending on the student. I can teach sight reading, tab and music theory. LESSON PLAN My lessons are designed to learn the most with the time we have. We will cover material that will help the student learn using study materials, books and demonstrations. We will only cover what the student needs and wants. Instruments I play fender Jazz basses and Ernie Ball Stingray basses. I use a fender bass amp for gigs and Fender amp for lessons and practice. Travel Lessons I will always bring my bass to each lesson and go through techniques and work with the students at the same time. I feel visual learning is very important. Each student should have a bass of their own and amp. I will bring study guides and lesson materials to give to the student to work on between lessons. Online Lessons I use Skype for online lessons. It is very important to be in an area with little distractions. I look forward to working with students who are just starting to learn this great instrument. I also enjoy teaching those who have been playing and may want to learn to read music or improve.
