Audition Prep with Jody E.

I have worked with students of all ages, including infants, children, young adults and adults, in both English and Spanish, and feel comfortable tutoring in almost any subject area. I am qualified to teach anything from early childhood language/literacy development and phonics to advanced GRE test prep. I am a student of life and lover of learning and teaching. I love working with people musically, creatively, and of course productively. Currently, I teach 4th grade in Baltimore City and hold my general elementary certification - grades K-6. I teach math, science, social studies, health, reading, and writing. I work with many students with varying needs and abilities and tutor students in grades K-8. Before becoming an elementary school teacher I taught early childhood music and elementary/middle school theatre in the greater DC area. I was a Cambridge Public Schools volunteer tutor during my master's degree serving students ages 12-18. I focused on high school/college testing, audition and interview preparation. I earned my Master's degree in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a specialization in Arts in Education. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Music from Northwestern University.
