Joanna Metsker, a violinist and violist originally from Kansas City, Missouri, has cultivated a diverse musical career stemming from her deep-rooted passion for music. With a Bachelor of Music Education from Missouri State University and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Missouri, she currently serves as the Assistant Principal Second Violin in the Springfield Symphony Orchestra while collaborating with orchestras like the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas and Tulsa Symphony. Joanna's musical journey spans various genres, including classical, improvisation, fiddling, and jazz. She founded the 417 String Quartet, showcasing chamber music in intimate candlelight concerts and offers "Infused Sound," an immersive musical and meditation experience blending her talents with mindfulness practices. Complementing her artistic endeavors, Joanna runs a private violin and viola studio, drawing on thirteen years of teaching experience in public schools.
