I have been acting for over 20 years beginning in youth classes and burgeoning at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas. I earned my BFA from the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, and have performed on television, film and stage. I started teaching back in 2009 doing summer camps for kids at an improv theater. I then moved on to teach for one of the largest and oldest acting academy in the United States, where I still teach group classes. Over the past year, I have included personal coaching and one-on-one mentorship to actors of all ages. Any great teacher is also a student, and I am continually in classes and seminars to increase my knowledge base. I have taken classes from Daniel Henning, the Groundlings, iO West, Killian McHugh, Ivana Chubbuck, and many others. My method to teaching varies with each student. I cater my lesson plans to the individual, their goals and what they want for their careers, and where they are starting from!
