I take pride helping students of all ages achieve their music goals, whether it be to shred solos in front of a packed house or play intimate songs for close friends. When teaching young people (ages 7 to 18) I do everything I can to get them passionate about their instrument. There is no greater motivator than fascination. I get kids playing real songs within a few lessons. If a student can play along to their favorite Green Day song within a few weeks, they feel like they can do anything. I skip past the "Mary Had a Little Lamb" phase that puts off so many future rock stars and go straight to the real deal: strumming, solos, and songs. When I teach adults, I identify your goals and create detailed lesson plans to achieve those goals step by step. I strive to be clear, patient, and humble.
