Saxophone with Jeremy T.

I absolutely love teaching lessons and am comfortable teaching any age! My saxophone experience includes lessons under David Hagelganz, Greg Yasinitsky, Sarah Cosano, and Shannon Scott during my music degree at WSU. I also attended a saxophone workshop put together by Eugene Rousseau, performed at 2 Washington educators conferences with the WSU Wind Symphony (their top group), have taken extensive vocal lessons to learn better phrasing with Thomas Blaylock, Shela Converse, and Kyle Chandler, and played saxophone locally for a brief time with Tualatin Valley Community Band. Teaching in all aspects has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I find exactly what it is that a student enjoys about a topic and use that as a window to teach them the more difficult aspects. I teach music theory as an essential part of playing an instrument because understanding how a piece was written is critical to playing it in the most interesting way.
