Hey, I'm Jeremiah. I was born & raised in Los Angeles, CA & have been playing guitar for over 17 years now. I have played in numerous shows around the country as well as many live shows in Europe. Over the years, I have learned many different styles of guitar as well as many different types of musical composition from all different types of people and genres. *** Lesson Details *** I have taught many students over time & the one consistent fear or problem they had was "Patience". They feared, as most teachers tend to do on many occasions, that I wasn't going to be patient with them. That I was going to be hard on them when they didn't know a particular answer but that's not what I feel learning an instrument is about. I feel that playing your instrument should come from the heart & not the mind. Meaning, do not assume that you know nothing but know that you can understand everything. What I want my students to take from my lessons is a sense of understanding on how their instrument works. How each note functions with one another. How to properly place your hand to harmonize & sustain a note. I also teach my students basic chord-progression exercises to practice their finger strength & dexterity.
