I work with students who are belters and classical singers, as I am a full soprano/belter. I also address the mixed voice belter approach that many pop/ jazz singers use.

My Education:
-I studied piano for 11 years and voice for 5 with local teachers before going on to college. In college I received my music degree with a focus in vocal performance, and received an award for my work. I also participated and provided useful input to the fledgling B.F.A program at Randolph-Macon Woman's College and worked on teaching techniques with a variety of different students. - Upon graduation, I moved to Boston, where I studied Opera and General Music at the Longy School of Music and began performing with companies from the Metro West area to the South shore.
Other important experiences and skills I bring: -I have performed with the Key West Symphony Young Artist Program, the Asolo Art Song Festival in Italy, and at the Norte Dame Cathedral in France and Westminster Cathedral in England. I have given recitals in South Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts and Maine, and performed with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and been a featured performer with members of the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra. -I have experience working with many different age groups, previously helping to coach the St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church Children’s choirs for their European tours and assisted in teaching the Royal Academy School of Music young chorister program. -I have worked with the Adult choir at the Court Street United Methodist Church in preparation for major performances with members of the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra.
