Specialties

Having a degree in musical theatre, I am well educated and specialize in Broadway and pop styles. I focus on teaching belt and mix. A lot of students struggle with connecting the voices from their upper and lower ranges. I feel strong that I can educate students on connecting both registers to sound like one. As for acting, I feel comfortable in teaching all ranges except for Shakespeare. I have much more experience with modern day theater as well as musicals.

I think it's important to choose a song you love to sing and have a connection with so that we can work on it and you'll be able to dazzle the crowd with your voice!

About

I hold a BFA in musical theatre from Shenandoah University Conservatory where I studied with a concentration in voice. I have been trained in all styles of music by coaches at Carnegie Mellon University and Civic Light Opera. I've been performing as a guest entertainer on various cruise ships traveling around the world for the past several years. As a performer myself I am aware of what different companies are looking for and can help put together a fantastic audition package for a student ... looking to pursue a career in entertainment, or if you just want to impress your friends on karaoke night! I'm incredibly passionate about teaching voice and want to help inspire students to love what they are learning.
