I do very well with kids and have been working with youth for over 20 years. I am accomplished in alternate tunings and have developed a method for DADGAD that I currently use with students.

Lesson Details

My lessons have a student-oriented approach. I like to identify the goals of my students and tailor the curriculum to meet their needs. I then work with them to build the skills they need to achieve their goals. It's a very rewarding process for me and my students. Music is my passion and sharing that with others is natural and easy for me, so lessons are fun and productive.

I am a laid back teacher and I give my students my full attention. I work with them to find or create opportunities ... where they can showcase their skills in a performance setting or a recording session.

About

I am a professional musician and I love teaching all styles of guitar, music theory, songwriting, voice and performance. I have been performing for over 20 years and have had the opportunity to share the stage with national acts. I enjoy teaching beginner guitar as well as some more advanced alternate tuning techniques such as DADGAD. I am regularly in the studio backing up other artists and working on solo projects. My new CD is set for release in January of 2011.
