Hello Students/Parents, I have been playing music almost all my life. I have been instructing my students in the ways of the drums, piano, guitar, and bass as a freelance music teacher for 10 years. I "officially" started real lessons through the YMCA Arts Program back in 2006. I studied 3 years of music at Raritan Valley, before starting my own freelance service for students eager to learn rock instruments with real results! At the time I only had a little bit of field teaching under my belt, but now I have over 7 years of experience teaching ages 4-16. I can teach you what you need to be a successful musician and start playing your own gigs! *** Lesson Details *** You will learn: Chords, Finger Patterns, Reading Notes or Tablatures, Playing exercises, Composing Original Music, Rhythm, Tuning, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, and more! I only require that they have composition paper, guitar picks, music stand, drum sticks, etc. *** Specialties *** I specialize in making learning an instrument fun using easy exercises, ear training, and improvisation.
