With a B.A. in Music from UCSB and a M.A. from Stanford Univ. in Education, I have taught piano and singing for many years to all ages. I sing and play both classical and popular music and have years of experience with musical theatre. Lessons are in my beautiful home on a grand piano and I have the equipment to record you. Whether preparing for an audition or starting from scratch you will receive the utmost attention to your musical desires. *** Lesson Details *** Voice students do best with a 45 min. or 60 min. lesson which begins with vocal exercises and concludes with work on repertoire of your choice. Piano students can start with a 30 min. lesson but more can be accomplished with a 45 min. lesson. Practice at home is required for you to succeed, and access to a keyboard, preferably a piano is necessary. *** Studio Equipment *** Yamaha Grand Piano Yamaha Clavinova Roland CD Recorder Microphone *** Specialties *** Experienced with both classical and popular styles of music. Currently sing with the Pacific Chorale and as a soloist/pianist for local churches. Have directed many youth theatre productions. Have prepared students for auditions for college, plays, etc.
