As a member of Music Teachers Association of California from 2010, I have held several positions in the organization. From Recording Secretary (responsible for taking minutes at the monthly branch meeting), Director of Composer's Today (a program that encourages students to create their own musical compositions), and finally to Branch President I have worked with branch members to conduct MTAC sponsored events in Yolo County for students to participate in, which include Fall Festival, Certificate of Merit Evaluations, Composer's Today, and Branch Honors Recitals.

I teach private piano lessons to students ranging from young beginners to advanced level players, including adults looking to being their music journey. As a piano teacher, I am responsible for guiding students through the foundations of musical education, such as sight reading, ear training, theory, history, and technique. Students also have an opportunity to participate in annual music evaluations, such as Certificate of Merit and National Piano Guild Auditions.
