More than anything, I have a passion for music. I do have a bachelor's degree in instrumental music performance from Oklahoma Christian University and a couple of years of teaching experience already, buy my main qualification is my passion. I want to help you or your child become a MUSICIAN and a PERFORMER, not just a skilled player or music theory student. Learning and developing technical skills are vital, and they are a huge part of my teaching method, but learning MUSICIANSHIP is just as important, and it comes across in every note you play. My middle school students go from last chair to first, and my high school students make their all-region band and get superior scores on solo/ensemble competitions.
