Bass Guitar with Jason I.

Playing Bass for 30 years and teaching 15+ years. Completed college music theory. I keep lessons fun and on point. I teach students to become players! I have developed a system of teaching that includes all the fundamentals of technique and theory. Most of my former students received awards in their HS jazz and orchestra programs. One former student was recently on Jimmy Kimmel playing in a band he is involved in. A specialty of mine is tabbing out basslines note-for-note. I can tab all the basslines of songs that the student is interested in, even when no sheet music for the song is available. Another specialty of mine is helping students not sure about their potential becoming players they can be! I work with all levels of ability and be assured the student will have an opportunity to find their inner player. I'm seeking to expand my teaching sphere to include students across the country and the world with online lessons now that the technology for a quality webcam experience is available. I'm available locally in the town of Austin for lessons, but now also from anywhere internet is provided.
