Specialties

I am a professional guitarist, singer, and recording engineer. I perform rock, blues, country, folk, blue grass, classical, and jazz. I teach many instruments and choose the curriculum based on the students goals and genre preferences. For guitar I commonly use A Modern Method for Guitar by William Leavitt and Larry Baione, and for piano I use Alfred's Piano Method by Willard Palmer.

I have a great wealth of knowledge about music that I am excited to share with you. No matter what your goals, I will develop your personal curriculum to help you reach them. For example: If you are interested in paying your favorite songs, we will work on learning the required chords, proper rhythms and singing techniques to get you sounding like your favorite artist. If you are interested in playing face melting solos, we will work on scales, proper technique, and riffs to have you ... sounding like Hendrix in no time.
