    About Jack H.

I started acting at and very young age and started learning music at the age of 8. I started composing music at the age of 13 and had my first piece premiered when I was 15. In 2008, at the age of 19, I was the youngest recipient of the "Youth Inspiring Youth" commission by WomenSing, River of Words Foundation and MetLife. I got my Bachelor's of Arts degree from California State University, East Bay in Psychology, where I also received minors in Music Composition and Choral Conducting. I've been an Instructional Aid for Oakland Unified School District, and for the San Carlos School Districts. I was the Assistant Director of the Bulldog Theatre Program in Orinda. I've been a music practitioner/teacher for students with special needs since I graduated from college in 2012. I recently received a commission from the New York City Master Chorale, and am currently working on a ballet.
