I teach through modeling and repetition. Having taught students of all ages, it is important to teach at their level, meaning that I teach to their strengths. I do not impose my ways on students. I use an incentive-based system so that with every hard work and completion of certain skills, students will know they have improved. Music is part of my DNA. At the age of six, I was already playing piano for my dad at his church. By the end of high school, I had established myself as a music tutor for family and friends. I continued to pursue music in college earning a bachelor of arts in sacred music, music education as well as a voice minor. I then decided to be part of an Asian choir and toured all over the world. After this, I traveled to Dubai for real life experience and for two years taught an average of 70 students

a week. Dispersed through this I received numerous awards and participated in seminars, while having my compositions published in the Philippines. I earned my Master in Music Ministry at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL where I also improved my vocal training. As you can see, music has been part of my life.
I love music because it has brought me many positive experiences that I want to share with my students. I believe that music should be a critical part of one's life because music opens the doors to endless possibilities. Music for students should be a balance of fun and discipline. My students come back time and again because I instill an attitude fun, while helping them learn, progress and develop their piano or vocal skills.
